2018-2019 PTA President, Vikki McLain

Hello fellow Rams! I am very excited about the school year :)  First, I want to welcome all new incoming families to Riverside and welcome back to our returning Rams! This is my fifth year as a Riverside parent. My little girl, Ella Cavallo has loved her time here as a Ram!
I would like to encourage each and every one of you to become a part of our #RamFamPTA team. The #1 reason to join the PTA is to benefit the children! Our PTA is working with our faculty and staff to make Riverside the best learning environment possible for our children. 
Because of fundraising,  this year the PTA will be able to put much needed updated technology throughout the school for the teachers and children!  These purchases are only possible through fundraising efforts of our Ram families!

Although raising money is important, we also focus on bringing families together.  These events include Fall Festival, Teacher Appreciation, Grandparents Day, Field Day, Muffins with Mom, Donuts with Dad, RAMS Dad’s Club and PTA contests.  As you can see, our PTA is busy and there are plenty of ways you can become involved.  If you are not currently serving on a committee, please consider volunteering.  Volunteering is a great way to get to know other parents, use your talents to benefit our school and make new friends!
Thank you to all who have joined the PTA, we encourage all families to join! In case you weren't able to stop by the Open House on August 16th, remember to come by our booth at both Back to School Nights!
